Already reportedly 13 dead, I can’t believe this is happening again. My condolences to anyone affected in Brussels. Stay safe guys.

On the Dutch news it was just told that at one of the metro stations another 10 people died. So reportedly a total of 23 already in Brussels, however I am afraid this is not the final number.

I’m just sat here in disbelief. Don’t know what to think. I can’t imagine what people more directly affected are feeling right now.

I feel ya Twingbro, it’s just so unreal...

I just find it hard to accept that people could willingly cause so much pain to their own kind.

I have a hard time seing those people as part “of my kind” honestly... animals don’t even kill like that...

Very true, the emotion and empathy that makes us feel something about this is something these evil creatures dont seem to have.

Yes, sometimes I get the feeling that these terrorists don’t think we are of their own kind, which is what makes them so dangerous.

Yeah very possible, its just crazy to consider since what they have done goes against all our instincts as people. Surely there was some human in them at some point.

A good half of my family works and lives around brussels, all of them seem safe but the mobile network is completly saturated. Really confused right now.

Find them, round them up, prosecute them, tie them up to a billboard van and publicly shame them in all of Belgium every single day for the rest of their miserable lives (tomatoes, shoes, bottles, anything).
And if they end up with a death sentence, they must drive Spa the wrong way around, deep at night, locked and tied in a car that’s about to blow up no matter how low a time they set. With the families of those they killed as their only audience.

I hope they are safe, have you managed to contact them at all!?

The shaming could work, I doubt death is much of a punishment for these kinds of people.

They’re being blown up precisely because they aren’t “their own kind”. It’s almost like opening the floodgates to cultures completely hostile to free society was a bad idea...but I’m sure all we’ll get is another lecture on how we must be even more welcoming.

My brother and his wife are alright, they live and work around the metro station that was attacked but they were already at work. My godfather was, thankfully, not based on Zaventem today (He’s an pilot for Norvegian Air). No word from my cousins working and living around Brussels (near Zaventem actually). No idea where they work and my mother is already playing “call center”. Hopefully, everyone is safe, but the phone network is fucked as all hell in Belgium right now.

..... Killing them in front of them families has shown to work throughout history.
Also:
An angry terrorist appears.
You use violent action.
It’s super effective.

Have you tried contacting them on Facebook/What’s App or any other internet-based means? It’ll be a lot more reliable.

Have you tried texting? Sometimes mobile networks will have just enough capacity for text messages, but not for voice calls.

Yeah, got them via facebook, they are all safe.

But that would fullfill their self fulling prophecy of outcasted as a symbol of the attack.

I recognized that, and realized the only punishment is isolation, preferably in the Antarctic.
